FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- MY DOG IS VERY PARTICULAR, WILL YOU ACCOMMODATE THEIR SPECIAL NEEDS? Every pet is different, and I will work with you to meet any needs you have with regards to your pet's care including special diets and medications.
- WILL YOU ADMINISTER MY DOG'S MEDICATION? I am experienced in administering medication in the form of drops or pills, insulin injections and subcutaneous fluids and offer these services free of charge.
- HOW EARLY SHOULD I BOOK SERVICE? Please book as soon as you know you will be going on a trip. The easiest way to remember is right after you book your flight! I will put you on my schedule and confirm the week before you leave, if you do not hear from me, you MUST confirm with me to make sure that I have you on my schedule.
- HOW EARLY CAN I BOOK FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON? We book up for the holidays so the earliest you can schedule your trip the better. We accept reservations for up to a year in advance.
- WILL YOU TEXT ME ABOUT MY DOG WHILE I AM AWAY? I will text you as well as send photos and videos of your dog while you are away. I also post updates on Instagram #thecontentedpet
- WHAT IF MY DOG BECOMES ILL WHILE I AM AWAY? WILL YOU TAKE HIM/HER TO MY VET? I will certainly alert you to any illness, condition or injury that needs to be seen by your veterinarian prior to taking your dog in. In the case of an emergency I will take them in and try to reach you as soon as possible. I treat all of our boarders as if they are our own, and act accordingly. Any veterinarian fees are the client’s responsibility upon their return.
- ARE YOU INSURED AND BONDED? I am bonded and insured through policies offered through NAPPS (The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters) and would be happy to present a copy upon request.
